Alexis Lyn is an interdisciplinary artist whose reflective work seeks to examine the stories we tell ourselves. She addresses pain, growth, beauty and love in their various forms. Connecting to the viewer through symbolism from universal stories and metaphor, Alexis reshapes and redefines these elements in her work to tie together an essential structure that directs you through her nonlinear collections of thought.
To create comfort, understanding and space for healing.
To welcome emotion.
To encourage critical thinking, self reflection, hope and growth in the midst of not only turmoil, but also peace.
Alexis seeks to do this for both herself and others through her work as she walks a lifelong path of appreciating small moments, the tangled beauty that is within ourselves, and the common threads of life that bring us together.
